Effective January 1, 2024, a Job Rate Salary program was adopted which condenses previous grade/steps into three job rates.
New 12-month hires who start work after January 1, 2024 will begin at the introductory Rate and remain at this rate for six months. After six months, employees will be transitioned by to Job Rate 1 (equivalent to Step 5). After three years, employees will be transitioned to Job Rate II (equivalent to Step 9). Alternatively, any new 10-month hires who start work after January 1, 2024 will begin at the introductory rate and must remain in this rate for a total of five months.
